With the support of the REPUBLIC, General Leia Organa leads a brave RESISTANCE. She is desperate to find her brother Luke and gain his help in restoring peace and justice to the galaxy. Leia has sent her most daring pilot on a secret mission to Jakku, where an old ally has discovered a clue to Lukes whereabouts. Maybe it’s hard for newcomers to adapt to some songs. The First Order, led by the evil Kylo Ren, is landing stormtroopers to attack a small village, as Poe Dameron meets with Lor San Tekka in a hut. Doe Deer, Baptism, Birds etc.)Ĭan’t think of anything negative right now. Especially Mother knows best (v1) and Trash the rental. Just started to listen to their unreleased stuff a few months ago after I was done with the rest.More experimental than the other albums.Only album which also has casual songs that don’t demand your attention as much (e.Alice’s yelping is annoying sometimes (e.Tracks get boring after listening to them too often (except Untrust Us).Feels least artsy compared to other albumsįlop Tracks I got tired of after a few times. To be honest I find a lot of unreleased and remixed tracks that are not featured on the album better because they are more aggressive/ engaging. I wanted to take my time with the lyrics and atmosphere before I moved on to the next track. First heard cc in early 2017 and it took me a lot of time to hear all of them. Still holds up well in their discography.Īll of this is my personal view. Focuses more on the softer side and doesn’t contain the really aggressive songs that drew me to heir music, and this is the album I visit the least. I love the sound they captured for this record. (III)- Their most cohesive album that flows elegantly. I do wish the album were longer and more cohesive but the final product is prodigious! I love Fleece, Char, Enth, Sadist, Concrete, and Kept. Edith Frances does a killer job taking over as the front woman and her vocals fit perfectly on many songs. I love the nostalgia of using glitch sounds in their music and Alice’s raw vocals and energy really make this a standout debut.Īmnesty (I)- Excellent new addition after their four year hiatus. I play it repeatedly to his day and never tire of it!Ĭrystal Castles- The debut that really made me fall for the band. (II)- This is my favorite album ever! The best collection of songs. It's easier to connect to and the atmosphere he's able to create with the last three albums is incredible and hits right in the feels. I'm glad Ethan grew out of this whole chiptune bleep bloop music, cause everything released after their debut just got better and better. It's great for listening to in a background if you're just trying to chill, if you skip Alice Practice, XXZCUZX Me and Love and Caring cause they kinda go rough on your ears lmao. III is probably one of their most cohesive albums so it just sounds nice in general cause everything is so well put together.Ĭrystal Castles I obviously has some real bangers like Crimewave and Untrust Us but I have no problem skipping the whole album because I have no personal connection to it. Great for pretending you're in a shitty goth club high on some shit a stranger slipped into your drink. Other songs like Baptism, Empathy, Doe Deer, etc just really slap in general. I hold II close to my heart because whenever I feel like a depressed piece of emo shit songs like Celestica, Suffocation and Violent Dreams really add that extra spice to my already existing bad mood so that's that lmao.
If I had to rank their albums it would be Amnesty, II, III and I. Edith is serving some real vocals on Char and Their Kindness Is Charade, these two songs are like my all time favorite songs. My favorite album is Amnesty because there is really no song that I don't like, I love them all equally. It is a very unique track but I think the ones after are much better and I think Ethan's change of style away from video game noises was an improvement Nothing can replicate crimewave, Vanished, Knights, Untrust Us, Air war, and courtship dating. I - great album but I feel it is a bit overly rated as one of the best, some songs really aren't that great, while the ones that are great are really fantastic.III - Hurts me to put this one that low since it might be my most listened to albums from CC, and very consistently good songs (except child I will hurt you) but I just don't like it as much as 1 and 2 even though its a very close contender.II - so many classics and honestly probably the best all around album since it feels like a mix between the first album and Amnesty I.Ik its not everyones favorite but its my favorite.
